Hi to all in Corozal John and Lois here we are planning on arriving there by the middle of Sept. and was wondering if Credit Cards are accepted in Corozal businesses? Any info on this will be much appreciated. God bless and have a wonderful weekend.

Not all places will accept credit cards so you need have cash also. Please do not rely on credit cards solely.

we used our c/c in hopkins, but be careful that your c/c company does not charge you a extra charge for using it abroad. i have an account with bank of america and one c/c i use in the states and another c/c out of the states and there is no extra charge.

We used our CC's in Placencia and Hopkins. A few small businesses did not accept CC's but most of the larger, established businesses did.
