One of the most common and most expensive scams concerns the sale of property. Before any money is handed over the seller MUST provide a title. Not a wonderful story as to why the title will not be available until next week. No, no, no you Must have the title in your hands so that you can have it verified. The stories as to why a title is not readily available are endless and very creative. They all equal B.S.

The same holds true for purchasing a vehicle. Same simple rule applies, no title = no cash.

When we bought our we had to verify that the title was held by an attorney for safe storage. We used that same attorney to facilitate the purchase all went smooth.

As I know there are two Water Taxi companies to supply the transportation service from BZ city to Islands.

Anyone can tell do they charge the same rate?

I remember first time I visited Caye Caulker they charged me in BZD ( Belize Express)

But second time I visited San Pedro they charged me in USD and also checked my passport (Caribbean Sprinter) Is it fair?

About property titles; how long is usually the waiting time until the title has been issued.

Assuming that you're referring to the purchase of property, and you're asking when the new title will be issued in your name, I gather it takes about a year.
