Off Topic Posts - Whats on your mind?

in the first sense it is an impressive statistic.  However, consider that it shows a lack if faith in the value of the country's own universities.
    -@THIGV

I can't say much about Vietnam, but China has a deliberate policy to get as many students as possible into foreign universities.

It's all part of a very long term plan to get as many experts in as many disciplines as possible trained up quickly.

Does Vietnam have anything like that?

The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of Men who simply wanted to be left alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love.

They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over.

The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of murder/suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. This is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives.
They will fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy… but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone.

"For many years now, I have warned that the path that the West is taking will result in civil war.  It might take 5 years, 50 years, or 100 years but it is inevitable.  The West could have repeatedly resolved these issues peacefully but it refuses to auto-correct from its path of civilizational suicide.

Many Western men who are currently asleep at the wheel will wake up, and realize that they don't like being pushed around in their homelands; they don't like their women attacked; they don't like their freedoms curtailed; they don't like their faiths disrespected.

Once this happens, prepare for some gargantuan ugliness. Those who think that they are gaining inroads in the West will soon find out that not all Western men are invertebrate castrati.  Save this tweet and never forget who warned you."

So, in 2021, it would appear that Vietnam had more students studying abroad, per capita, than any other country in the world.
That's impressive.

3624.jpeg-@Aidan in HCMC

I just now noticed that Uzbekistan may be the per capita leader on this list.  However as these numbers are from 2021, they mabe are no longer true.  It could be that Vietnam us the true per capita leader in 2024-25.

Interessting numbers because despite repeated failures to contain insurgencies (Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan) the US Armed Forces seem to be acknowledged as the one power that would unquestionably win any conventional war with any of the others.   The difference must surely be technology.

Well, then. Right on schedule, at about the same date. EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.

And here was me, thinking our (local) "tier 3 ISPs" weren't meeting their contractual/financial obligations to their (transnational) "tier 2 ISPs" which provide data allowance.

Good news: there are plans to expand the system:

Would have been better had the source of the chart indicated which currency they were using to determine "millionaire" status.

Can I rewrite your sentence? "...when we turn 40 and we are RICH we can become "sugar daddy" to some of young ladies."

Sugar is money, not age.

So it is not that easy to be a "sugar daddy". Men with money never complain women are gold diggers. It's always the brokies...

=》You are safe. Relax!

You can read the book "ACT LIKE A LADY, THINK LIKE A MAN: What men really think about Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment" of Steve Harvey (Chapter 1, Part 2) to know what you missed in your life.

And if someone is not lucky enough to experience age gap love, it doesn't mean that love doesn't exist.

Life and love are more beautiful than what you and someone else are thinking.

Good luck!

I personally think it's pretty presumptuous for a woman to rewrite what a man is feeling & thinking instead of simply sharing your own personal perspective.

Then again, you do appear to inject your own personal bias when you essentially call @rogergarinmichaud a "brokie".

"Rich" is a very relative term here in Việt Nam.

A foreigner man living here on a monthly retirement income of $1,000.00 USD (currently ₫25,380,000 VNĐ) is told he's "rich" very often by Vietnamese people who are living on about ₫5,000,000 VNĐ a month.

He's not a "brokie" until he's manipulated into giving up most of his income to a young golddigger who promises to love him big time, forever and take good care of him.

As I stated later in this thread:

I'm 69 and my 42 year-old fiancée is still incredibly beautiful, but also mature. Works for me.  -@OceanBeach92107

So I posted my comment as a sort of warning to lovestruck foreigners who are blinded by unrealistic promises from very young women who are little more than teenagers, yet wise & crafty beyond their years.

As virtually all of my posts confirm, I have especially high regard for virtually all Vietnamese women.

Unfortunately, it's still necessary to alert my fellow foreigners to the need for caution when something or someone seems too good to be true.

In the last comment, I recommended the book "ACT LIKE A LADY, THINK LIKE A MAN" of Steve Harvey. I have reason to capitalize the book's title. Steve wrote about "gold diggers" meaning in the Chapter 1 part 2. You can read it first, then come back here to discuss about that.

Steve Harvey said that his 2 DAUGHTERS  inspired him to write this book. The book is for his 2 DAUGHTERS, and another girls, another women all over the world. So there is one more reason to read it to be good at parenting.

Men who are obsessed with the fear of  "love-money-diggers" should read Chapter 1 part 2.

Men who have DAUGHTER should read ALL THE BOOK.

If you don't want to read it, I don't have anymore to say.

Have a nice day.
