Starting a Business in Vietnam

Nikitame

Hi Guys

Is starting an e-commerce business in Vietnam with Vietnamese employees good in terms of getting a long term visa/TRC?

If not  which industries will be more cost effective in terms of capital investment, potential business success and etc?

My colleague and I (both foreigners) are also looking into exporting goods to other countries, but getting customers seems to be a bit challenging if you do have connections.

Any advise will be appreciated.

At this time ? No.. very hard. But even before covid you would face serious challenges. The biggest hurdle being the number of competitors already here in VN.. added to which most goods come from drop shippers sourcing cheap goods from China.

What are you ultimate ambitions.. to use the business simply to gain a visa or TRC¿

Thanks for the insight, The ambition is to have the TRC and financial stability and freedom with time,
