Getting married to a Vietnamese woman

DirtyPierre

We have been living together for over 10 years and have been engaged for 3 years. We are finally getting married.
My question is does a New Zealander need to have an Apostille for the Vietnam govt from the NZ births deaths and marriages dept when applying for permission to get married.

I didnt get one from Australia when I got married. The main thing they need is the Certificate of Non-impediment.

How do you achieve Certificate of Non-impediment. What contact/group within Australia

Its a fairly easy process getting married, it all comes down to the person you deal with at the government. Frustration at the lack of information given was our biggest problem.
