salary tax deduction for expatriates
|does anybody have an estimate as to how much is the monthly deductible tax from an expat's salary? Employer is based in vietnam.
I understand that this is based on the salary itself but can you just give me an idea as to the percentage? Is it 10%? What if salary is around USD800-1200?
any information would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

If they dont enforce this, how can the government get remuneration? Developing country needs funds.

Thats a good way.
In Singapore, the government imposes tax on everything from Goods & service tax; 7%, cigarette & liquor taxes, Electronic road pricing, COE (Certificate of entitlement) for cars, fines, for littering, spitting, etc.
Maybe Vietnam can try impose theses?
Actually I feel that VN government can improve on their tourism. Vietnam has nice beaches like Mui Ne, Phu Quoc island, etc. Just my opinion.
