Seabank atm charges?

Jetlag777

Hi

I am somewhat confused by what Seabank or for that matter other banks are doing in Vietnam but then I am sure others have had the same with all VN banks and atm charges.  I had a credit of  VND 1,023,124 on a cash passport card (Thomas Cook)..  I withdrew VND 900,000 and after the withdrawl I have a receipt stating a credit of VND 14,156.   So my question is where has VND 108,844 gone?   Are these extortionate charges or fees for a withdrawl or are these charges for something else?

Probably the bank charges: abroad withdrawal, currency charge, etc.

Can you not access internet banking to see the bank statement/report?

Hi thanks for the reply, Unfortunately my online  only states the withdrawl amount to include the extra and does not show any charges.   I can only imagine these are currency charges as you say.   I used the Agribank atm and they only charged 22,000 vnd withdrawl charge last time.  So lesson learnt  I wont use Seabank again I will use Agribank.   I do have an account at Seabank which as from now on they can stick where the sun dont shine.   Seabank are useless !   Thanks
