How many times can you go out of Vietnam and re-enter to get a new 3 month business visa?

or have extensions without any supporting documents (as I will be trying to start a business, might take more than 3 months)

You can extend 2 times. After that just go to Cambodia by bus and stamp Vietnam visa from there. Some times they give a 6 month visa or even 1 year

If you are planning to start company, you don't need to worry too much about visa run.

I saw you posted many threads here relating to visa. I think you just want to stay here, right? If so no need to spend too much money for starting company. Just find out some job or extend visa 2 times and take a border run.

problem is that I can't get a work permit, I had a job, a good one, but I don't forfill the work permit requirements.

I want to stay in Vietnam. If I do visa runs, I can only do a certain amount of them right?

I'm pretty new here like you (came for the first time last year, stayed for about nine months and recently returned) but I get the impression that - as of now - you can stay here about as long as you want (even if you don't have a business and aren't working here/haven't obtained any sort of long-term visa status) by leaving for a short time every nine months and returning to start the same process over again.

Wher is Tran Hung Dao? Is there any long term xpats who could give a concise and uptodate run down of what is required in this blog. Particularly for Non bussiness people?
