Satellite equipment

Budman1

Has anybody seen stores that selling this type of equipment in Saigon? What I'm looking for is a 120cm dish and a Low Noise Block (LNB)  Universal KU-Band, 10.7-11.8 GHz. I've tried to find them in here Can Tho with no luck. Would really appreciate any leads.

Sigh!!!!
You are dammed right, Budman. Just absent for a few weeks, and Howie is running around with some tomfoolery acting as a career advisor for some chicks!
Anyway, just stick in shortly as usual before I have to run.

English translation, please.

Have you explore the Slingbox alternative, Budman?

I don't know much about that but you can find many media stores on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street, the part near the zoo, america consulate, opposite Hoa Lu stadium and on the side of the Television building.

Ngan Khanh Thanks for the information but it looks like what Anatta provided me did the trick. I e-mailed them yesterday and got a quick response back.

Wild_1 Slingbox won't work for me. As your aware how far I am out in the sticks, my internet connection just wouldn't be good enough to make it work.

You might be surprised about that. I've found during my years here that internet service is usually BETTER when you're one of the only people actually using it (out in the sticks).

I stayed at Howie's "Holiday Hotel" in Can Tho a few months ago and watched the College World Series on my Slingbox in the hotel lobby. Was shocked that their standard internet on wifi for the lobby guests was as good as my expensive internet connection at home in District 7, HCMC. It's all about bandwidth and how many people are hogging it.

So if you can get a decent internet connection out where you live, it may be good enough.
