HONEY

ancientpathos

Greetings,
Just wanted to thank bta87 for his information about honey. I know most people might think the topic is about Lan (yes she is a honey). I really just want to know what others experiences are with using it as an alternative sweetner.

Why thank you AP, I woke up with a warm fuzzy feeling in my tummy, must of been the organic honey I used. Floyd Mayweather said he'll fight me in Spring. He watched my match last night and said he knew I was the one for him.

my last trip to Vietnam I brought some Canadian maple syrup. Was a hit with the Vietnamese. Maybe this upcoming trip I should bring some Tim Horton's coffee and a toque for the cold Da Lat. Do they sell butter knife in Vietnam?

No because butter often melts in this heat and slice bread (to spread butter on) to make toast isn't popular.  Instead people just use a spoon or a dull cutting knife.

I had to look up what a toque is.

If it's this, Americans call it a beanie.

If it's this, Americans call it a chef's hat.

I buy raw organic honey straight from the hives in Canada for my husband. I put it in his tea that I serve him every night. He says it tastes better than any honey he has even had.  :D

Wow, that is one long journey for honey.  Florida to Canada, ah the things we do for love.

All honey is organic. About as organic as flying, pollen chewing and spitting little critters can make it, though I suspect the 'organic' claim comes from bee keepers who try to limit their hive placement to fields in which insecticides and herbacides have not been used. But since they can't fence off the field, who knows where the little critters wander when the urge hits.

Enjoy it while it lasts.  In fact, horde some.  The bees are dying...probably humanity's fault.  So the price of honey will climb and climb.

Bees are dying due to a mite (virroa) and a virus,( fuol brood) as for the claim "organic" :dumbom: bees fly up to 2 km to forrage, meaning organic flowers near hives , ok 1 km away ,ha aha ha, what honey cooperatives do is blend honey the same as wine companies blend wine so as to get a consistant flavour even honey from backyard keepers will taste different at times of year due to flowers in the area, look for small pruducers and youll get the real deal
