Did you miss Google Maps navigation function recently?
Since 2012 MAY 13, all the devices using Google maps haven't been able tp run the navigation features in VietNam.
Google didn't announced a reason to stop providing the service. Cross-checked on different computers and mobile devices including Android tablets, iThingies, none worked.
In Google forums (fora), many Vietnamese asked questions about why interrupt service however, Google is the official answer.
Navigation function on Google Maps officially became available in Vietnam in 2010 January.
Now, after 5 days suspension, Google's online maps now allows users the course track.
Navigation functions on mobile/PC Google Maps has been operating normally today
Today, testing on mobiles and computers this feature is functioning normally.
Speculation is that Google is upgrading this feature. In VietNam, the navigation function is in its most basic form and doesn't support voice.
