EP application in January

Guest456

Hi

I would like to ask if CV is a required document for EP application.

In my case, the company uses agent to help with EP application and the application was submitted with passport copy and education certificate on Jan 5th.
On Jan 11th, agent told me MOM asked for CV as an additional document for my application.
CV was submitted on Jan 12th and the status is still pending now. Not sure if it will be rejected…

I used to work in Singapore in 2016, and I remember CV was one of the required document. I do feel weird when the agent didn’t ask for it this time.
Try to contact them but they never reply to my email so I’m a bit worried about the their work now.

Anywho here share the same experience?

I applied on Dec-31, still pending. Anxious, too.
But I am  not sure about whether CV required or not.

Your CV is required by MoM to evaluate whether your work experience fits the job.
As you have experienced, agents in Singapore are rarely helpful and often a hindrance. They are best avoided (if you have the choice). Better deal with the employer directly!

Thanks Beppi for your explanation.

Too bad my employer outsourced this to external agents.
Is there any way to check if the additional documents have been submitted to MOM? I checked EPOnline, it only shows Pending.

Ask the employer (or their agent, if you must)!
