Applying two IPAs at a time

You cannot apply for an IPA, only for a work pass.
As we have written many times before (why didn't you try to find the answer by yourself before posting here - it's called "resourcefulness" and is a great help in life!) you can only have one work pass application ingoing at any one time.

Here IPA I mean is work pass (EP). I have gone through many posts on this forum and could not find a concrete answer exactly. So posted again here.

From below comment, does it also mean that, after company A work pass (EP) is approved and still Company B cannot lodge/apply for EP?

The reason I am asking again is that, as per my understanding when EP application is in progress (without outcome as approved/rejected) another EP application cannot be lodged by other company unless existing application outcome is announced/released.  However can be applied by company B after company A application result is announced (approved/rejected)

I beg to differ, Cactus. Several posts on recent threads point it out, and clearly so.

Pointless having another comment, so here it is, once you have your EP issued by the new employer, the employer B can apply for an EP (IPA is what the approval is called). In your case if you haven’t gotten the EP, get it and then set the other application in motion. While you do so, not sure how MoM is going to treat a quick shift to another employer during these times. Weigh in, also please read other posts. Thanks!

Here my query is more on whether company B can apply for EP without being EP issued for Company A( for this only EP is approved and I have not joined this company A and pass is not issued) My current status is already working with Company X.
So wondering, whether two companies can apply one after the other for EP for same person.

Mate, you need to read my comment again, I clearly mentioned, unless u get your new EP issued (per my post above), or get A to cancel the IPA/ EP request with MoM- it ain’t doable.

My company applied wp for me, but i couldn’t make it to the medical in the given time. my ipa hss expired can they apply again for me ?

IPA expired means its no longer valid. So, your company either request MoM to reconsider the application with provide a valid rationale or else apply fresh application.

I just received email saying company A’s (start up company) Application to IPA got approved after 2longmonths of wait and also got a call from company B that I have been selected (better salary and stable company).

I like to join the company B, how can I proceed now.

what reasons can I give to company A and how can I convince company B to apply new IPA for me.

currently I am under EP under company A.While company A is renewing my EP, can company B apply for a new EP-IPA for me? I think maybe cannot because renewal of EP also has IPA

Bur renewal of EP does not require IPA.
