I have Lung scar and i don't know if this allowed in Singapore.

fred mahipos

Hello everyone,

I am a 7 years nurse from philippines and hired as a Registered Nurse in Singapore and waiting for my medical here in the philippines but my problem is i have a history of pulmonary fibrosis which i aquired while working in the Philippines. My pulmologist advised me to complete 6 months of treatment and it was treated and completed the medication. I also undergone repeat xray last January and the mild scar was still there. Is Singapore accepting Nurses with lung scar? what are the things should i do before working in Singapore with this case?

Did you inform your new employer about this? If yes then you may check with HR on how to proceed. Secondly, you need to get a doctor letter that you can travel and work. Good luck
