IPA for re-entry

Hi everyone!

Hope you are well. I just received my S Pass approval today and my IPA. However, my social visit on Singapore will end on Thursday. I am planning on exiting tomorrow to Malaysia then come back in SG. Will the immigration officer accept my IPA letter? Do you think this is the right route?

Thank you!

You can visit ICA today and request them to allow your stay extension as you have received IPA. If the joining date and today’s date does not have many days gap then you can try this.
Thank you Surya for this information.

I also have another question. My employer requires me to be uploaded on the tenant residential base here in Singapore as a proof of residency, before they can apply for the issuing of my pass. However, I am currently living with my sister and the landlord only allows 2 people in the unit (she's living with her husband). Which means that i cannot be uploaded on the base.

I would like to ask if this is really a requirement for the issuing of S Pass? And if yes, is there other documents that i can provide to prove my residency?
What means "uploaded on the tenant residential base"?
I have never heard that phrase.
What I meant is that I should be listed in this site: https://www.mom.gov.sg/eservices/services/tes

Sorry if my sentence construction was weird.

Anyway, is this really a requirement for the issuance of pass?

Let me know. Thank you!
Resident address is one of mandatory declaration before issuing your work pass card.
You need to register your residential address, but not with MoM.
Normally, „foreign worker“ refers only to WP holders. But I don‘t know the page you refer to.
Hi everyone! Thank you for your replies!

Would like to ask if MOM spot checks the residence of S Pass holders? I am just curious. I already found a good place to stay at and I am just wondering.
MoM doesn’t require to do spot check. For all communication purposes, it will send letters to that address. If such person doesn’t exist then letter will be returning back through return mail.

Any false information or declaration to MoM or any Govt authorities in Singapore means the person is digging his own bad times.
It is not MoM‘s responsibility to check if you fulfill the residency and registration requirements - the police is in charge of this!
