Hi Natasha,

Yes, if they are prescription medications you can take them on the plane in your carry-on baggage. You should tell the airport security staff exactly what they are (before they even ask) and if you have a copy of the prescription on hand or if all the prescription bottles have your name on the prescription label you should have no problems.

DIFFERENT COUNTRIES , DIFFERENT RULES
Hi maradona812010,

Thanks all...I m travelling to Singapore n wanted to know in that context ?
Yes Sir
Maradona pls revert on the question as well.
Mrs Munjal

to congregate it all together,

i dont know much about medication but

you need to take the medicine within how many hours ?
Direct flight takes around , 5 , 5 1/2 hours to changa airport(like they say in punjabi)bahut changa hai yaar.(joking)
MAX DELAY WOULD BE 30 TO 45 MINS

i call it changa even though the name is Changi Airport .

if during the flight which is for 5+ hours you need to take the medication carry it in your handbag.
always carry the prescriptione as proof.
also you can get a medical certificate from  your family doctor.
keep these documents with you so that if need arises you can show the said mentioned to the concerned authroities
keep the original as well as the xerox.
also have xerox of all the important documents . it helps

Also
Indian customs and singapore customs . dont even compare
time wise we are behind them 2 hours 30 mins
most common spoken is English malay chinese apart from 21 different languages.

so are you going for studies or work ?
also baggage rules i.e how many kgs of baggage is allowed, etc is different for different airlines.
whatever airlines your going , check with them with regards to this

Regards
Thanks maradona... U revert was helpful...n yes I would hav to mention that the changa airport is calling us soon :))
