Hello!!!

I have been in Singapore for 2 months now and have spent it adapting to my new job but now I have a lot of free time on my hands!

I am looking for some new friends here, i'm a sociable person and have only met people who are travelling around and don't intend to stay here so to meet people who plan to live here for a while would be great

thank you for replying! I have been busy this week so i have only just seen your posts.

What are the details regarding the bar crawl? Sounds fun but i'm not sure whether i will be able to afford it this month. Is there a bar crawl every months or is this just a one time thing?

Hi Sophie,

I'm pretty much in the same situation as you - I moved out to Singapore from the UK at the start of October and am working in an office with a bunch of people who are very difficult to socialise with!
If you fancy going for a night out/drinks or are organising anything then let me know as I'm desperate for a social life again!!

I would love meeting with new people, I miss the socialization of my Country

anyway I am quite away from the City, as I stay in the West close to Chua Chu Kang. Btw I try having new friends by organizing BBQ, Italian dinners (I am an Italian Chef and also a language teacher and teach both of them also in the CCs) and cultural events... if there is anybody interested I will check these posts time by time. Whatever, have a nice time and enjoy Singapore!

Hi guys, same story here. Moved from London 2 months ago, so far enjoying it, but desperate to meet people outside my office. Going out, dinner, drinks...whatever. Saw posts saying they spent 2 years in Singapore and couldn't make many friends etc, freaking out as I type! If I don't go out and have fun, I can't function as simple as that. So going all guns in now, please let me know! Thanks!!

What kind of thing do you guys fancy doing? Drinks somewhere would be cool as long as its not too early as i supposed to finish work at 7pm but sometimes i stay longer than that :p

Hi guys, similar case here, moved from Barcelona one and a half month. This time I've been getting used to my new job and now that I'm settled, I think is time to meet new people.

I'm working in a wine company if someone has interest in wines or just want to meet up and share experiences I'm open to it.

I also speak Spanish, entiendo y hablo espanol porque he trabajado en toda Europa tambien con la Caritas de Espana el periodo que estube hefe de la Caritas de Italia en Europa del Este. FOR WHOM IT MIGHT CONCERN

On Saturday 29 December, 2:4PM, I will hold a Pizza Workshop for my second time in Senja Cashew CC... the workshop is funny and hands on, furthermore I teach how to prepare the dough in 5 different ways and after topping and baking we eat them all! I give a 6-pages document with the main things I teach during my workshop. In the first one I had 14 participants, big success... maybe it is an opportunity to know each other if you come and/or enjoy Italian dishes!!! Hope to see some of you, let me know

Happy New Year 2013! And if someone wants to join a dinner, that Juan and I might organize soon, let us know! Btw I will teach soon for Singapore Culinary Journey the Italian Festivity Courses workshops, as well as Valentine's sweets, Italian vegetable and vegan salads, and Ancient Roman Delights! The Pizza workshop was great yesterday and with a lot of participants, thanks for sharing!
