The processing lduration of an LTVP application for your spouse largely depends on whether you had a PMLA done beforehand.

With approved PMLA, it will take a maximum of 6 weeks, and often much faster.

Without PMLA, it takes between 6 weeks and 6 months, depending on the complexity of your case.

For the spouse of a Singapore PR, ICA’s stated processing time is within 6 weeks, provided all the required documents are submitted and in order. Some cases take longer if ICA asks for more documents. The Pre-Marriage LTVP Assessment mentioned above applies to couples where one partner is a Singapore citizen.

How it works:

Your PR spouse submits the application as sponsor through ICA’s e-Service, logging in with Singpass.

Upload the documents on ICA’s checklist. Anything not in English needs an official translation.

You’ll get the outcome by email, and you can track the status on MyICA.
