Detained and deported

04cochleabunnies

My adult son, who is a US citizen, was detained and deported about 4 months ago. SG customs found a vaporizer in his bag upon flight arrival from Bali. He was given a note saying that he was deported due to immigration policies issued at this time.

As his Singaporean mother, I appealed to ICA using Form 14 about 8 weeks ago. I noted that it stated LTVP in the ICA email header, and wondered if I even have the correct form. Yesterday, I received a reply that it was rejected.

What are my options? How may I find an appeal form for SVP?  Note that he has made numerous trips as a short-term visitor since he was a child and I do so want him to visit with my very elderly mum before she passes.

Sorry, but a ban due to drugs violation (which illegalimport of a vaporizer is probably seen as) is unliely to be changed by your appeal. It is better you rather ask how long the ban will last - and allow himtovisit again only after that.
