Notice period increased from 1 month to 2 months

sudhan92

Hi All,

Our employer has sent an email saying that the notice period for all employees in my position range is being increased from 1 month to 2 months with immediate effect. Does the employer has the right to do this ? I don’t want to serve 2 months notice period if I resign in future. May I know how to deal with this ?

Thank You

You have an employment contract with the company, which should state the requirements for termination.

This cannot be changed unilaterally be the employer! What does your contract say?
