What passport does he use?  He is a citizen of what country? Do you intend to live in the Netherlands?

Ddelrosario

He has a Jordanian passport, but we intend to stay in the Phils for a while after the wedding and then travel to Netherlands late next year. But now were focusing on him getting a tourist visa in the Philippines

So the question is what is the normal requirement for a Jordanian to get a tourist visa to the Philippines and why are they denying him?

what are the "difficulties" that he is having with the Philippine consulate in Amman? you let us know the difficulties and maybe someone can throw in more information for you. Cause at this stage, the only advice most can give you here is let him go to the Philippines consulate and apply the legal way.

Or better yet. Let him travel back to the UAE and apply the visa from there.

If you marry in phils you will not be allowed to travel to netherlands, You must get married in his country first. he needs to get a k1 visa for you to visit him
