Right, just wondering if its a absolutely must for annual report or if I can show both, New and Expired ?

My PP is still at US embassy for processing, waiting for Return.

SRRV has nothing to do with restamping for annual report. SRRV has no annual report like 13A. Comment is off topic and irrelevant.

Update

Just finished Annual Report via Online.

No questions asked about restamping, so does not seem to be a issue at this time.

To confirm my statement above,

I just recently traveled to Thailand

and the US.

Not once did immigration ask to see my old passport Containing my 13A Stamp.

It appears that My 13A permanent card along with my new passport was sufficient enough. Restamping seems to be a non issue in passing immigration upon returning back here.

Btw, I was a little surprised when entering US there is no longer any passport stamping, whether in my US or my wife’s PH passport.

Its all digital now via Camera’s etc…

Even in emerging market economies this is now the case. I flew into Jakarta on Wednesday and subject to you completing the online visa on arrival before travel you can exit immigration via the egates. No queues. Went straight through. You then have to show a QR code at the customs electronic gate. Modern technology. But is it? I always print hard copies just in case my phone battery dies. There were a few 'street cred' Gen Z'rs as I call them faffing around with their iPhones who I by -passed with the hard copy. Sometimes analogue is best.. ;)

I would be interested to hear if Manila/ Cebu have adopted this new technology. Perhaps Cherryanne who arrived on Sunday can elucidate for us.

I will miss the passport stamps though; there is something about them that I cherish. I still have an old passport with an Oman stamp from about 2,000. A work of art.

I can’t remember if there were passport gates on my arrival in Manila and Cebu but I do have a stamp in my passport dated 9 November- my arrival date in The Philippines.

Hi there,

This is the procedure and costs around 1500 pesos.

Good 👍 luck.

restamp a 13(a) visa in the Philippines, you must apply at the Bureau of Immigration (BI) with a written request letter, your old and new passports, the front and back of your ACR I-Card, and other relevant documents like a copy of the visa implementation document. The process involves submitting your application, getting an Order of Payment Slip (OPS), paying the fees, and then submitting the new passport for the stamp or claiming your new ACR I-Card.

Required documents

Letter request: A letter addressed to the Commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration requesting the restamping.

Passports: Original and photocopies of both your old and new passports (bio-pages and latest arrival stamps).

ACR I-Card: Original and photocopies of the front and back of your Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card.

Visa implementation document: A copy of the document that shows your 13(a) visa was approved.

Other documents: Depending on your specific situation, you may need other documents like a BI Clearance Certificate, a birth certificate, or a marriage certificate.

How to apply

Gather documents: Collect all the required documents, including your old and new passports, ACR I-Card, and visa implementation document.

Submit application: Go to the Bureau of Immigration office and submit your application and documents. You may be directed to a specific window for pre-screening.

Get and pay OPS: Obtain an Order of Payment Slip (OPS) for the required fees and pay at the designated bank or window.

Submit OR: Submit the official receipt of your payment to the BI.

Processing: The BI will process your application. You may need to attend a hearing for image and fingerprint capturing, depending on your case.

Claim your passport: Once the restamping is complete, you will be notified to claim your new passport with the visa stamp.
