Immigrant Visa by Marriage (13A) probation: Work?

I had a hard time opening an account,Metrobank was a joke. PNB was no problem.

As I remember  it in 2013 when  I did my 13A, I had to show them some money. I showed them my Australian and North Carolina bank statements...Nothing else was said.
