I am told for full time skilled live in maid. That pays U.S. around $62 a month.  Less for unregistered maid. I pay 300 peso for the wives cousin to come in 1 full day a week. + meals. 3rd year chef student and that is her food money at school.  And cook 1 great supper a week. Stay overnight, and help wife clean next day. + she is long on hot showers  here, Has hit us for some books ,a few cloths. a fan, and internet she hogs when here.  And she has stayed here for 3 days at a time when no school for free. But to feed her.  That give you a idea of what a maid makes here. And just to wash cloths is far less.
