hahaha i see yeah so it be most for locals. i know i was thinking a nice gym western styl but philippino membership. I like near a beach not to big city though but laso have massage and somekind of martial hart training:) so will see i still need to do lots of research.

As for films etc., the niche you might find overcrowded and highly competitive. However, if you opt for it, my advice is to invest to something stable first, like... land in islands :0) Starts from $2k only. And then securely to go for uncommon ideas. Yap!

u think we can find land for only $2000? ok but then what? what can u do in a island with no water or electricity?

what abou the foreigner owning hotels and resort? they not all hiding though, i think it all depend on what biz you will have.  what i mean is you cant be behind the sean all the time. like i want to open a gym and i cant be hiding, i will have to be there and run my gym..see what i mean, what you think?

and like a said its hard to just be behind the sean when u have a business, the people are not stupid, even i have my wife in front they see me around, they know she is married to a foreigner. so i dont see the deference if im in the biz or outside? im not going to just let my wife run the biz and go to the beach all day or do nothoing in the house what the point of that? I think alL the foreigner there have deferent experience not everyone are same:)

i agree with Petrih... Try to check what's trend today, it could help you decide what business to deal with. There are factors to be considered:

1. Location of the Business
2. Target Consumers
3. The demand and supply
4. Products/Services to sell
5. Capital and Manpower

So, study first and don't forget to check each & every corner of your business plan.

Hi Steph, basically you can work and recieve a salary anywhere in the Philippines as long as you have the corresponding visa.. including your wife's business as an employee... not as an owner, partner or investor

It is assumed that you recieve money from your spouse ... but not as business owner, partner that you declare in your financial books.

yes i know i look and search, its to hard to open biz there unless you have lots of money is not worth it to open amall biz.
all the money i save i will just use it to live there while try to open online biz, most foreigner that live there is what they do. so i prefer keep my save money and go there and work online. i figure even if i only make $500 a month it be great. i know ppl will tell you that you cant live on $500 a month but u can if you dont try to live like you do in your country just with minimum u need anyway good luck.
