annulment
I'm currently living in the netherlands for 4 years now.. I'm married to a dutch national and we got married here. but in the process of getting divorce.. I'm trying to get my citizenship but my contact person from the city hall said it might have complications due to the divorce.. then in worse case scenario..I have to go back in the philippines and I would still be married..
Since my marriage is solemnized,I wanna know how long and how much it would cost to have my marriage annulled? Anyone who have had the same experience?
I have a friends who who got annulled but they were married in the pilippines.. and they had a lot of complications.. one of them took about a 2 years.. they told me that it shouldn't take me that long and it shouldn't be as expensive since i wasn't married in the philippines.. and we don't have any complication with the divorce process..

If you are married outside of the Philippines, it is only recognized by the Philippines. As for Annulment/Nullification processes, the Philippines Government wouldn't have or would want anything to do with it for it's not an NSO Certificate marriage. However you will still need to have the Divorce recognized by the Philippines courts since you were legally married somewhere.
And yah my nullification is still ongoing. 2 years and a few months. I've almost given up hope in a way.

I highly recommend Atty Jojo. He is very accommodating and offers a reasonable rate. He was able to finish my friend's annulment case in about a year. His rate is P150,000 only.

So, after neglecting him for 2 years...and he thought both of you moved on, after 3 years...you just feel like getting revenge...duh? please, just let him live his life...happily. Im pretty sure you have enjoyed, too...in the 2 years that you did not have any contact with him.
I lived here in Dubai since 2008. In 2011 I took my BF in Dubai under visit visa and got married in 2012 here in Phil. consulate in Dubai. After almost 7mos of marriage my husband had an affair with one of our housemates. I left our house as I could not take such act happening in the house. my X husband and his mistress is living together on the same house (unmarried). I wanted to know how I can file a case of annulment, police complaint or atleast how I can file a complaint to Iglesia ni Kristo as the mistress is an INK. I have all their pictures and evidences. Please advise how the legal procedure would be. Thank you.
As this is an English speaking forum could you please post in English so that we can understand your post. Thanks
they have a good chance of getting annulment, although it will be a long and expensive journey. Plus the fact that he needs to go back home at least a couple of times for the investigation, pre-trial and trial proper.

It depends on a lot of things but normally it takes at least 2 years....your agreement in the brgy level will not do u any good if ur going to file an annulment...cause it would mean collusion which would lead to the dismissal of the petition...
Is it possible for a Filipina to divorce in another country and have the divorce legalized in the Philipines ?
Or is annulment the only way ?
