Hi,

There is a cheap SOGO hotel in Baliwag. They have rooms for 999 Pesos (16 USD) per day. You can stay there for a week or two and try to find an apartment for rent. You can stay up to 3 years as a tourist but you need to go to the immigration every 2 months and pay around 10k for the extension. Expect to spend at least 100k Pesos for a month in the Philippines. If you come here to meet a girl/boy be aware that she/he expects that you support her/his family. So plan another 20k/month to support him/her and the family.

Welcome to the Forum Mark. Can I please ask why you have decided to look for somewhere to rent in this location? I had an ex girlfriend from Pandi in Bulacan and stayed at her parents house for a week or so and visited a nearby resort a few years ago. Pandi is about 20 km or so from where you are looking to rent but I found it a bit isolated up there. I strongly suggest that you visit the area first before making any commitment to rent, maybe take a 3 week holiday first to check it out.

I suspect your choice of location is probably based on a love interest and if you have not met her in person yet, I suggest you take your time and visit before moving there.

FB marketplace for that area and it will sorta give you an Idea on whats available, Prices and Requirements.

Some might require 12 months of post dated checks while others are less stringent. Some include Wifi and Cable others you have to acquire yourself which may be difficult when just arriving and without a local bank account or ID, it may be difficult.
