Landers refund policies for online purchases

Enzyte Bob

I now shop S&R via Metromart online, they can deliver c.o.d.. Depending on the time the order is placed you can get same day delivery.

.

Lander's (not on Metromart) has the following refund policies for prepaid online orders. If using a debit/credit card, they will issue a refund and notify you by email.

.

It will take 5-15 working days and may take up to 45 days for international credit or debit cards but may depend on your issuing bank.

.

Always use c.o.d. for online orders and pay in cash.

Thank you for this information... COD is a new concept for me (I just got into Davao 2 weeks back). You can't trust using a Credit Card to buy items from stores (that deliver)?

So much to learn.

Thank you.

I'm not saying using a foreign credit or debit card is unsafe. Forty-nine percent of Filipinos don't have a bank account, for popular online sites such as Shopee or Lazada they offer c.o.d.

Trust, It depends on what store and what they are delivering. When I arrived in the Philippines five years ago I made many expensive purchases at major retailers with no problems.

My bad experience was ordering online grocery items, the price online varies for items priced by the gram/kilogram or in/out of stock on your order. The store either puts a hold or actually initiates a charge.

.

When this happens any refund of the overcharge but it takes time as in my original post.
.
So c.o.d. is my protection.
