Requirements for entering Philippine provinces?

Guest8754

I may have blown it, big time

This time I spent some cubic $ on video equipment, planning to make a documentary video.  My plan was to make a 1,300 (land) mile trip through the islands, shooting, all the way.  Ah, but it's more fun in the Philippines.  I should have known...

My father in law has been nice enough to lend me his new pickup.  My first stop, Camagen island, demands some rather imposing stuff before one can enter - copies of this and that uploaded...  That, the outrageous $5 (US) per mile ripoff demanded by their car ferry, has removed that island from my itinerary.  But it's worse than that - much worse - because of the possibility of similar BS requirements existing, elsewhere.

My plan included going through lots of provinces.  All I need is to get hung up, somewhere on my route, by something like this.  What a nice way to get kidnapped, etc...

I have worn out several search engines.  I can not find ANYTHING, relative to this problem.

Can anyone help me out, please?

It would seem to me to be a very large project you are planning. Maybe if you break it down into smaller segments and instead of covering the 1.300 mile land trip in one go, maybe split it up into three or four separate trips, return home, plan the next part of your trip before continuing, you may find it easier. You will not escape the BS requirements but you will have less research to do in one go and may find it easier to get all the paperwork needed in order.
