Tips on moving with Elderly parents & children

Ruolly

Hi, I am wondering if it would be possible/sensible to move to rural malaysia (mainland) with elderly parents and two young children? Access to good healthcare is important, a good school probably private Chinese one, a safe rural area, somewhere I can employ people to help with the future care of my parents. Is  this a possibility? Carehome costs are out of my reach in tbe UK & I want to be near my parents. I am reasonably flexible where I live regardinf work, but favour a rural area where it is safe and unpolluted. Also one of my children has asthma, so have to be careful with air pollution (not so good when there are months od haze) What do you advise? Is it possible to live modestly with Malaysians or would it have to be gated for security? Don't want to be robbed at knife point. Thanks

What immigration status will you be on?

Only option is MM2H if not working and no parents on that visa

Yes was thinking of MM2H. Would like to work in the future though.
