Dependant for a Nephew

Good day Forum,

My wife and I are both currently working and living in Malaysia,i need to obtain a Dependent pass for my nephew (11 years old) as i am his Guardian and he is unable to stay in his home country without us for a number of reasons.

We do have a guardianship agreement signed and certified by both parents however Immigration's informed me that they do not normally issue Dependent passes for a nephew.

Any suggestions or help in obtaining the DP would be much appreciated.

Enrol him in a school as a student and then request consideration for a Student Visa with you as his legal Guardian.

Unfortunately there are no English schools in our area at this stage,he will be have to do correspondence.

Boarding if necessary elsewhere.

The international school has been put on hold at the moment,not sure the reason.

Boarding is something we could consider.

Any other possible avenues we could look into?
