Respiratory problems - A good specialist

gtalba

Dear all

I have a question related to a medical problems.

Do you know a good specialist or a good clinic, in Kuala Lumpur area, for problems related to the respiratory system, such as cough, short of breath and so on?

My experience is that there are many clinics that easily prescribe a lot of medicines without a deep check-up.

Thank you so much for your suggestions

Never had that problem in KL although I have had an annoying chest cough for a couple of weeks here in Indonesia. I would try at one of the three big hospitals in KL, Gleneagles, Pantai or Prince Court. You can go online to see which doctors are available and what is their speciality and contact their staff to find out more, also you can ask what their first time consultation fees are. I've had both good and bad doctors at Pantai, good for a back operation and a knee operation but bad for a skin doctor who was totally crap. Some of the doctors probably work at smaller clinics too.

Anyway, we always check online before confirming an appointment and generally prefer Chinese doctors

Have a nice day!

I've found a couple of YouTubers who wholeheartedly recommend Gleneagles.  But that's the only place any of them have tried.  No mention at all of any of the other hospitals.

Yeah Gleneagles is good. My wife gave birth there twice. But I have had spinal surgery and knee surgery at Pantai Hospital and it was good. I think Pantai and Gleneagles might have joined together some years ago,

My advice is to research and try to find feedback or ratings on doctors that you might be interested in using. See what past patients have to say. These days you can check out the background and ratings on all doctors.
