If you could tell us if you are going to want a ER visa extension or what that would help. The ER extension is pretty easy if you are over 55. Under 55 you will need to document and prove your pension or whatever. You can get the ordinary visa when you arrive and then turn it into the ER. I am not so familiar with business visa extensions since I am old and retired and I have an aversion to work of any kind. I notice you are 52 years of age. Do you want an ER or EB visa extension here. There are a lot of links here you can search to find background information on both.

To get the ER extension, take your passport to visa agent. If you happen to be in Phnom Penh first, I would recommend contacting Kim. She's been doing visa extensions for years. In 2022 when I got back, I had Kim do my ER extension and it took 3 days. If in Kampot, you would use a visa agent. It takes longer since the passport is sent to PP. From here in Siem Reap it can take a few weeks or even less.

You can find health insurance with local vendors like AG Cambodia. Search for them online. There is also Forte I believe. You can submit for a quote online if memory serves.

The topic of Cambodia visas came up recently on the Vietnam forum, in a thread regarding border runs. I had posted there, "There are two types of Cambodia visas available at their land crossing borders, and though I can't recall their specific nomenclatures/designations, I do recall that one is available at $30US, and the other at $35US."

Is the "Ordinary" visa you mentioned the $30, or the $35 visa? Do you know the name of each type, and the difference between the two?

$30 visa is the tourist visa, which can be extended once, so max. 60 days.

$35 is the ordinary visa, which can be extended into an EOS (extension of stay) for max. one year, but every year again.

Tourist visa is single entry,

EOS is, depending on the length of extension, multiple entry.

Cheers.

You need an Ordinary visa to get into the country.

Can be obtained on line or on arrival by air.

Valid for 30 days, so after your arrival you use a reliable agent to get you an EOS (Extension of Stay).

Cheers.
