Lifes next adventure (i really need advice)

Good day,
I am a canadian and i have just lost my license for 10 years due to drinking and driving. (yes i already know how much of a screw up i am so could we please look past that as i am trying to move on with my life.) I need a new country to live where i may be able to ride my motorcycle again legally, i open to all an any suggestions or advice and any response is greatly appreciated.
I originally wanted to move to the UK but that seems to be out of the question so now im just looking for anywhere that will take me. I am a rope access (SPRAT/IRATA level 2), red seal ectrician, cwb welder, 4th class power engineer and high angle rescue technician. Could you recommend a country that could use my skills? I was debating on buying a sail boat and just sailing around the world picking up work where i can, maybe fly back to canada and work a few months out of the year just to make a living. Im unsure of what to do, all i know is i dont want to spend the majority of my time in canada anymore.

Many countries have no checks on your driving record when applying for a local licence, but they also have very nasty punishments if you commit offences whilst there.
As for Indonesia, there are no history checks here, but drinking and driving is bad news, very bad news if you hit someone, extremely bad news if you kill someone.
The punishments vary from fines and possible prison time to being beaten to death by an angry mob, even if the police have already turned up. This also applies to a whole bunch of other criminals. One guy stole a mosque's collection box and was beaten to death for his crime, the police response being to ask people to hand in criminals to them rather than beat the suspect to a pulp. Nothing else was said.
The driving laws are odd here, but you'll be deemed to not be in control of your vehicle and things will go from there.
Angry mobs tend to concentrate more of their gut feelings rather than employ legal experts to determine guilt.

Im not looking for a place to drink and drive.... i learnt my lesson. I consider my self a postive contribution to any society, i just made a few bad mistakes here that i have learnt from. What are some positive things about in Indonesia?

Excellent news.
I've also committed many follies but I don't do any of them anymore. Suppose the difference is I was never nabbed. Double the speed limit on a British motorway is less than legal - and lots of other naughty stuff on large bikes.

One other downside for biking - the roads are generally poor and most drivers are poorly trained so you need eyes in your bum.

Do you think Indonesia is the best place for me to try in Asia, considering my work experiance and trades? Id still like to stay in construction/rescue as i do excel in thouse areas and have lots of experience. Thanks again for the replys 😁

For work - possibly not as the rules here are strict but, if you have the skills and find a company, the salaries tend to be very high compared with local wages and the living is good.
Top end/specialist jobs are available to qualified foreigners and construction is massive at the moment with all the new infrastructure going in.
You have to see the extent of the work to believe it - it's astounding.
