I am an American who is seriously considering moving to South Africa.....Port Elizabeth especially......I have much to learn about your country and the differences I will encounter.......I am still in the initial planning phase, but I thought I could use this forum to make new friends for when I do move there......I already know several people from Facebook in Port Elizabeth and I care about them greatly......wonderful people....

I could use guidance on what to expect, help in finding a room to rent, information about passports, Visas, etc.....I am slowly learning from searching online, but if there are any former Americans in this group, I could learn much from you......when I do finally find a place and go there, it would be nice to have friends already, people who share my interests, etc......
