Relocation to Beira?any practical infos?where to buy furnitures? etc

Hi everyone,
I'm french and currently living in Burkina faso; My husband is being transferred to Beira, we'll arrive next month: any tips you could give me about the city? For exemple the area where to live in, if there are shops selling furnitures or if it's better to buy them before coming, hotels where to stay while hanging around looking for a house etc
Any info most welcomed!

Hi Coco,

When you get in Beira ask your Husband's office in Beira to look for a house in Macuti most of expatriates leave in that surbub.
For furniture you can buy in Burkinafaso and bring in Beira. (Moderated: no free ad on the forum pls + register in the business directory)
