Hi all!

What about meeting the other Maputo Expat.com members in real life? Organizing an Expat.com meet up would be an excellent way to know them!

An Expat.com meet up can be a diner gathering, having coffee, a bring and share in a nice place, a cultural or sports activity, etc. There are plenty of possibilities: just imagine a pleasant way to meet new people and old friends from Expat.com.

Feel free to organize Expat.com get-togethers in Maputo: you would meet the other members in a friendly atmosphere and have a good time together!

Of course, we could offer some help to organize your meet up and to inform the community.

So, whos in? Do not hesitate to start a new thread to suggest an Expat.com gathering in Maputo.

HI good people. I am António Anosso. I am living in Maputo and i agree with your suggestion for meeting up. It might be a new way for us keeping most of young and intelligent boys to move towards an opportunity. If you are really serious, i can volunteer myself to take the role of an organizer. I know some very cheap places for hosting you which has got rooms for sleeping, conference room. But, are there some friends who can manage financing such gathering?

I don't know if someone is ready to invest.
But what we can do is we can meet up and give our own expenses like we go out for a coffee or to have dinner to some good restaurant and then individual pay for themselves.

Do not hesitate to suggest a date, an hour and a place.
Other members might be interested as well.

PS: The date to be given 1 or 2 weeks in advance so as to have a maximum of participants.

Hi Anasrizvi.Why dont you take an initiative of organising something.I am in South Africa but im Maputo almost every 2nd month,and i would like to socialise and have fun with lovely ppl around me.

I think you can google the nice restuarants and other tourists attraction places in Maputo,Matola and other surrounding places.Will be coming that side next week and i would like to meet you.

Hi Antonio.Usually when people meetup,they pay for their own expenses.Someone must just organise venue and do the bookings.Then those who are interested can RSV.Unless if is a personal special occasion,like a birthday party and you invite expart to come enjoy the celebration with you.

on which date my dear.I will attend if it is between the 9th and 13th May.Will be in Maputo for 5 days.You need to get this going girlfriends and boyfriends.Try to live life to the fullest.Have some fun.Get going!!!!! lol

Everytime i am in Maputo i get bored cos i dont have company and i get stuck at one place,And i am a fun loving person.Please will keep in touch when i am there next time.I mean i do business during the day and maybe an evening out can work,of cos if you are available guys!! See ya!!
