HI everyone,

I have done some research and found a few casinos that have texas holdem and I will go check it out,however I am keen to try recuite a regular bunch of people,to get together,socialize,have a few drinks and share a few stories, and yes ofcourse play poker!

I am only moving out there within a week or two so still need to find a place to rent but no harm in making contact and seeing the response and wether its possible to organise.

Also are chips available to buy there or should I bring a set?

Well if you have a venue/house or know of anyone that would host such a evening pls let us know. I will need few wekks to get my own plce when there! We could have a barbecue on the day to socialize and then play poker afterwards !

Can you move easily around the island, meaning you have your means of transport and can catch up easily at any venue?

Have been in mauritius for 3 weeks now, relocated from London and itching to play the game i love so much. Where are these casinos? Also depended where you are gong to be based, would entertain the idea of a social now and then. Cheers len

HI,

I have found this link on facebook that send me regular dates of cash games, tournements, and sit and go's. I am arriving in a week and will check it out but I have made contact with a few people and I been advised that in vacoas there is the best place to play,send me private message and I will tell you more.

Lenamsav, where are you based?

Ghirish, could you pls let us know more about these home games and wehn you plan on having another evening?

Hi Guys

There is a social texas hold em poker evening planned for the 4th March at a leisure club called Riverland in Tamarin starting at 7pm. Buy in is Rs500 with two additional rebuys. Pay out to third place. You must put your name down!. Space is limited.
