Hello

I just wanted to ask you about an offer me and my wife have received from the school in Tripoli. I found u honest that u can guide us whether to accept the offer or not.

They have offered us in total $ 3300 + 700 LYD

child education + accommodation & maid free

should we accept their offer?

each or together?
$3300 + perks is OK to live on but with a family and being in Tripoli you might not be able to save much if this is the amount for 2 people. If they offer $3300 each which is the basic salary for expats in universities, then it's plenty money in Libya, and i'd say go for it

no $3300 + 700 LYD altogether

they will pay all the bills , accomodation will be free and they will provide free maid also child education is also free for us then?

I as I said before then its enough to live on quite comfortably but could be difficult to save money at the end of the month. Ask them to throw in a settling down allowance to get you started. They give 1000 LYD to expats in universities and make sure they pay the return plane tickets for you and your family. Hope that helps. Good luck for the future

There are no bills at this moment, anywhere in Libya. If you are getting a free maid, accommodation and a free transport, then I shall raise my hat.
