I've seen some local kids sk8ing on the roads, but no surprises there eh ? Just thinning the gene pool.
I'd thought of sk8ing at Regatta, the surfaces are smooth enough and the traffic is OK.
Haven't seen any sk8 parks, I'm sure if you wanted to ride any rails someone would soon be able to tell you not to
The sea front in town opposite the Al-Kabir/Grand hotel would be OK, I'm just too lazy to drive all the way down there for an uninspiring sk8.

I better keep asking things to not being disappointed when I get there expecting too much.

What about Kite-surfing? Is the wind strong enough? Or too strong (like in Nouakchott, Mauritania)?

Any paintball courts? Karting? Shooting ranges?

surfing, the coastal line is amazing, loads of good spots

kite-surfing u can do it at either Alsha'ab beach, about a month ago I saw a couple enjoying it at the same spot.

Karting and paintball courts are not there.

I know someone who kite surfs, so can put you in touch with them when you're here.
