Here's a tip for anyone planning on bringing a few goodies back with them after the Xmas break.

You have pieces of luggage to go through the X ray machine. Beforehand, make sure that all of the "more interesing" items are packed in the same bag or case.

At the X ray machine, put the interesting bag/case through first, followed by the two other bags.

Why?

The first bag/case which goes through may or may not attract the attention of the man behind the screen. The second bag may get a look but the third bag stops right there on the screen when the belt stops moving.

Another one:

Bags/cases with plenty of ladies underwear scattered on top will put off all but the most enthusiastic observers.

How about you read what I wrote?

Nowhere in my post have I suggested, encouraged or condoned importing any items of goods which are forbidden or illegal in Libya.

If you prefer to have some brainless goon scatter the contents of your luggage, that's your choice. Touche.

Anyway, if the luggage content IS regular, there's no need to scatter anything. It was very good note about warm libyan prisons
What 's the first sentence You hear when coming into any prison in the world??

Tell you what it has only been just over a week without the wife, but that thought is starting to appeal to me How's the weather ?, 26 degrees with us today and the locals are all wearing bloody jackets Scotland (Aberdeen anyway) under about 6 inches of snow.

In Carlisle at the mo...minus one degree and loads of snow on the ground, but no more forecast. I still can't beleive how this country comes to a grinding halt every time a few flakes of "the wrong type of snow" starts falling
