That is not what I was told by the Libyan HR manager who interviewed me. The IT manager (a Libyan who spent 20 + years in the states) said the same thing, not saying you are wrong Harry, but someone is telling porkies

Have to agree with HH on this - my wife was recently lined up for a job with Microsoft Libya until they figured out they'd have to go through the whole quota positions deal with the immigration and eventually it all fell through.

Ah well a life of leasure for the wife then , although she may do some personal fitness training for expats within the compound, I wonder if she could set up her own e-bay business

well, guys, this is no good news... I really hoped that once I manage to settle things with the baby I'll try to look for something to keep me up to date with the life outside of the fence...
