Hi,
I will be in Nairobi for a 9 month(extendable by 3 months max) contractual assignment. Please help me on-
Cost of fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment in secure area with amenities like swimming pool / gym etc.
Also what is the normal deposit taken by landlords ?

average 90000kshs pr month depends on location
deposit can be half or full amount of rent

the normal deposit should be 2 months maximum but some landlords will take 1 month
secure areas like yaya center area there are 90/80k units with the stated facilities

an unfurnished 2bdrm will range from ksh20-50,depending on the place they are located and also the finishing.less pretty houses are cheaper than new btfl ones.If you are still looking for a house,kindly inbox me your email address so that i may send you some samples.
