Rural Kenya - Residential Waste Management

Hi. We're building a home in rural Kenya and need advice on waste management (non-compostable trash). There are no trash pickup services in our area and we don't have a vehicle. I don't want to burn it or build a pit/landfill. We recycle, but can't recycle everything. What have other people done?

There really aren’t a lot of options regarding waste management apart from burning, unfortunately. Even if you found someone to collect it, they’d probably burn the waste anyway.
