What's the weather like?
Care to share what the weather is like where you are?
This was taken yesterday on our walk.
nicoleb.org/b2/media/blogs/NicoleB/Hungary_nature/walk%20fields%20and%20sky.jpg
Crisp, cold & very clean air.
Heck, I enjoy this a lot, even though I freeze more since we spent that year in Kuwait
This is Hungary, btw, Somogy county
Today the weather was more like a hazy nothingness
The walk we had was nonetheless a good one
We had a nicoleb.org/b2/index.php/a-story-in-pictures: great laugh
nicoleb.org/b2/media/blogs/NicoleB/Hungary_nature/walk%20weather.jpg
Oh gosh, it's just cold here !
(How do we embed pics in here ? :-/ Never tried !)
It's cold here too. Last night it was -3 Celsius.
You need to get the Image Location, click on the Image Icon here in the post, paste the URL and click ok twice
(Do you know how to get the image location? If not, just ask
)
I actually saw the image icon, but if we don't hace an URL for the pic ? Ach !
Grin
Do you have the image uploaded somewhere on the web yet?
Yes, on my blog. But I don't like the option where a big is bigger in another window, so I don't have a URL for it alone.
I have created a FlickR account recently. Although I'm not really a fan of the kind, might as well start using it. Right ?? ;-)
Yes, but flickr for flickr you need to link back to them. They are a bit picky about that
If you need help there, let me know ('cause copy paste doesn't work I think. The code here is different)
Today we had almost everything: sun, rain, clouds, storm, rainbows,....
nicoleb.org/b2/media/blogs/NicoleB/Hungary_nature/weather%202.jpg
I had the most SPECTACULAR sunset yesterday, and I had forgotten the camera. MEA CULPA. Now it is mostly cold since the heat and hot water are both down. Boo hoo.
Brrr....it's getting colder here again too, after 3 days of weirdness
I know, the Best stuff happens when you don't have the cam. I didn't have it asap when I caught the golden light up there.
After the doc visit I didn't exactly feel like it, but at least it was in my handbag and I could get a glimpse
Later I saw a double rainbow, but I was only taking the dogs for a quickie and didn't have the cam, sigh
I'm afraid we will have some sooner or later too. Oh well.
Currently it's foggy and rainy, blaeh.
Snow yesterday evening and icy roads this morning in Newcastle, I took a couple of pictures I'll post them tomorrow
It's raining and cold....blaeh
That was the weather in Newcastle, UK two days ago

And that was yesterday in Paris, la Défense ...
OK, you can keep Paris, but I envy you for the good weather you had in the UK, that's rare, no?
Yep, but it was absolutely freezing!
I rather have it that way than like we have it now.
Pee warm and nasty.
I killed three ticks IN the house in the last three days. Climbing over hubby and other odd places.
They usually stick with the dogs & OUTSIDE. Plus they should be DEAD by now.
Nasty weather
I loved the press release ref the weather for Chiang Mai in northern Thailand a few days ago...
"Prajon Pratsakul, chief of Chiang Mai Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, said the disaster zone was declared on Dec 1 after the districts were under 15 Celsius degree for three consecutive days. He said the provincial administration is seeking 2.5 million baht (about £60,000) from the government to provide urgent help to local people who need about 100,000 blankets. The chief disaster mitigation office added that the temperature at the mountain tops in the province remained between 5 to 9 degrees for several days."
Under 15 degrees C. for a few days, and it's a disaster zone!
That cracks me up. Sorry for the people though, I doubt they think it's funny.
That's one of the reasons they sold scarf and hats and gloves in Kuwait. For all the poor Asians that froze so much
(And the Kuwaitis)

Just living is not enough, one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower - H.C. Andersen
Managua today at 26C. Sunny but very windy.
27C here, in the mountains of Eastern Puerto Rico.
It's been a while since I was on this forum - anybody remember me?
I think I envy you guys a tiny bit
It's cold as s*** over here and at the verge of snow
I'm fairly new, Gary, nope, no chance that I know you

Hmmm.. We might have met when I lived in Germany.
Around twenty years ago I was in Hungary a lot(mainly in the Szombathely area).
Well, the world is small, so that might well be, Gary
This was the weather yesterday (with my mug in the way, but you get the idea
)

It's not going to change here anymore -so photos will look the same- maybe down to 24, tops 22 at night (depends where in Managua). The rainy season is over, therefore, just sunny and windy (strong enough to break ceramic stuff and others not properly anchored in the verandah) until the middle of next year.
The wind will bring a lot of dust (and I mean a LOT)...so a daily regimen of vacuuming, sweeping and dusting will be in order.
Uh, I don't envy you for the dust. Had enough of that while in Kuwait. Just two days ago finally got the CPU on my Laptop cleaned and don't have a helicopter sound no more.
That's actually one thing I like about being back in Europe. Even though sometimes it feels like it's grey all the time, the weather DOES change a lot
I love this time of the year in Puerto Rico. The temperatures are just great. Not warmer than 26, 27C and at night it cools down to 16, 17C.
Combine that with the longest Christmas season in the world (from the first advent until Jan 13 - a week after three Kings day, when the season afterparty is celebrated) with parties everywhere and you 'll understand why this is the best time of the year.

Actually I don't think so. I lived up in the north, in the Bremen/Oldenburg area. From your blog I learned that you were in the Koblenz area.

Now, that sounds like a Christmas time even I would like

Most likely not then
This was two days ago and that's how it is since 3 weeks.
A mix between cold, warm, rain, storm,...
Today it's supposed to snow.
After a warm morning, temperature is dropping now and it's a mix between snow and rain out there.
Bbbrrr.....
Yikes ! It started snowing... again !
Life in a ski station is not for me. After 3 months, I got it just fine :-/
I want Spring too
We had sun today, but a blasting wind and more nastyness coming our way
Since Spring is finally here, I thought it's time to revive this thread
Maybe someone wants to play along
Here's one from our summer like weather and picnic walk
nicoleb.org/b2/media/blogs/NicoleB/2009/Me/36504april/3652009344%207th%20april%20mosaic.jpg
I've been taking pictures every day to show the progression of spring here in Heidelberg!

I think it's a nasty streak in me coming out - because I love watching the British weather forecast and having a little gloat because the weather is so lovely here in Spain. (Mind you, we did get snowed in our first winter.)
