Age is just a number!!
This is amazing and i am really speechless.............
You know sometimes i used to think i am failure in my life and nothing is moving but when i see this type of extra-ordinary work by different people encourages me to fight and never give up feelings..........
Thank you mal for posting this and making my day because today i was very sad but now i feel better........
Regards,
Anil
I once under took on online test which works out your mental age as apposed to your real age.
My mental age was less than half my real age.
So this reinforces the argument that aging can be slowed by one's mental thinking.
Exactly stumpy,we can do lot of things mentally even our age is more but physically we can not............but here this lady has proved herself she can even better physically..........

Anil
One problem - as one advances in age - is having that number of candles on a birthday cake slowly becomes a fire hazard.
But now a days people used number candles so if someone is 80 then he/she has to use only 2 candles, one of number eight and other one of number zero..........

You can avoid this to buy or bake a bigger/ larger cake

The way around that is to have one single candle but have your age written on the cake in yummy icing
Actually I heard the wife on the phone talking (under her breath) to the sister-in-law.
It sounds like something is being organised at a local restaurant. I'll just have to act like I have no idea.

This is a good idea.............
age doesnt matter to attend many things in life but in Asian society it is difficult...
Age is indeed just a number. Its how we train and use our mental faculties that is more important perhaps.

I'm not sure what mental age is, Stumpy. Is that anything like IQ? My IQ is somewhere around half my actual age - at least, that's what my wife tells me. She reckons she knows about scientific stuff like that.
Might be in general it can be said Age is just a number but when a person developed his or her will power to achieve something or do something then age doesn't matter...................
But age do matters sometimes....
When getting aged, they stopped traveling
That's what one of my expat friend confirmed me.
It may be his / her problem but need not applicable to all....................
If age is just a number, then mine should be unlisted

Hi Mal ,
It doesn't matter everywhere , here in China we can see people at 80 travelling and doing their daily work . they are very active we can see then doing exercise in the parks and other places every morning, running to catch public buses and what make me surprised that if you offer them seat in the bus they don't take but ready to travel one hour journey standing in the bus. Even I feel so happy and energetic meeting these old and active people in my community where I live.

Hi Anita,
Yes, that must be very inspirational for you to SEE 80 year-olds exercising in the parks and riding on busses.
How lovely that at least in China the old folks don't ever seem to get so feeble, of body or of mind to be able to get out and about and thereby make young people feel so happy and energetic.
In reality, however, those eyes that you see burning so brightly will eventually fade and close. Unfortunately, one day you might see that too.

Hi Jost ,
That is the truth everyone has to die one day but life is to live and it's worth living with lots of energy . My 83 years old friend saays ,"If you are active physically and mentally you are enjoying life otherwise it's like dying before death." and I want to be more active and energetic when I see my 83 years old but young friend,
That's the spirit everyone should look after........
Yes age is not a matter if you are young in your heart and my opinion is life is begins at 40 years so .... No worries about age enjoy your life as much as you can .......

Oh life begins at 40?? WOW!!! Then am a kid!!!
Life teaches us in every moment so whenever you will learn you know that..........so age doesn't matter.............
Old age is when ... when you are cautioned to slow down by the doctor instead of by the police.

Old is when . . . your friends compliment you on your new alligator shoes and youre barefoot.
