Quote of husband as a kid

stumpy

When I am home I never have to cook or clean. Just like being in a restaurant.  :top:

I get chased out of the kitchen whenever I make the effort to cook something. Then only thing I am allowed to do is make my toast and coffee in the morning. I am only home maybe 2 or 3 times a year on leave so I am expected to sit back, relax and spend quality time with family.  :)

I am asked what I want to eat so the wife can go to the market and get the food for the daily meals. I do have to cough up the money however.  :o

Clearly your wife considers your contribution to the well being of the family to be very significant.
Who are we to argue with her opinion if she thinks you should have a good rest up on your visits to the family.

Thats right, if his wife wants him to stay away from kitchen- thats their business. Normally in my case also I do not expect anyone's to support at kitchen. Thats my kingdom and am the queen. :)

I do love if my husband stands in the kitchen and cook a nice meal. I don't like the mess he is leaving behind afterwards.
Unfortunately this is rarely the case, that he cook I mean.

I think its a kind of sexy if a (good looking) man stands in the kitchen and cook.

I'm beginning to wonder if the issue is more a difference in the way Western and Eastern women see this question. A sort of cultural issue?

Eastern and Western women are not same in their opinions on many subjects!
Kitchen is the place of woman in many parts of  Asia and guy is the newspaper reader/computer gamer/TV watcher! We may have to say... "Lunch/Dinner/Tea is ready...!" in this male dominant continent.
But no one can say- we are not happy!!!
For a woman who likes cooking, this house run is easy as eating cashew!!! :) Because since our child-hood we were sent to the kitchen while boys were sent to play-grounds.
Once my French friend visited and after his 3rd day staying at my house asked... "Hey, Mal when do you get a rest??"

all men never change ! really they are the same kids and need mother , no wife and life mate ! they have amazing world
if we understand them , we can have beautiful life together ! all men can do wrong more and more , and wife s must forgive more and more ,

of course i like the men's world , they are so funny , they live at this time with out worry about future , similar to kids :)

I think this answer goes a long way to revealing the truth. Your insights tell us a lot and your ability to express yourself in English helps this.
In my opinion Western women have gained a lot more freedom compared to women in other parts of the world. IMO to a large extent many of the customs based on culture and tradition which influence women are no longer so strong in Western countries. With these freedoms old traditions fade away.

In a similar Western men have also 'gained' more rights to participate in household chores. I must say I prefer it this way.

I suspect your 'wink' partly defuses your statement.  ;)

No. Agree with you latest post, I can not say that is for everyone the same.
For me, as an Western I like when a man cook and find kind sexy.
The Eastern women like this too I suppose but it doesn't mean that she find it sexy too.
She wishes that her husband help her more out in the household.

And guess what?
It is their duty to do so (according to their religion) but it seems that the men doesn't want to remember this.

What can changed cannot be called original..........So Man tries to be original and natural............
Yes you are right if women understand men then life will be beautiful.............
Man have more worry then woman for the future.......thats the reason they become old earlier and even die earlier also get mad more than woman.............. :)

Its all depend on our relationship as husband and wife...........if a husband don't know to prepare and wife got ill what he is going to do either he will prepare if he knows or he will bring the food from outside if he don't know.....or arrange other means for sfood......but not leave his wife without eating...........

Anil

Yeah thats true, Eastern woman (not all countries-I am speaking more about Sri Lankan, Indian women) are like this. We pay the least interest to ourselves- we do not have time to go often to beauty parlors, gyms or shopping for our own self. When or if time permits, we attend these.
Since my small age I have seen the person called Mother to be at home, keeping house, looking-after kids, cooking, cleaning, washing, marketing and managing financial matters. Father's duty to earn money and yard work in free time. Anyway we had a lovely family and I never heard my Mom complained about anything. Even I didnt know whether she had a hobby. Her everything was her family. Now the things are bit changed but not tremendously! Now women are little forwarding and more active. She not only attends all the house work but finds some time for getting out of house to move with the society. Now woman is more alive!!!
