Do you read the forummers' blogs?

John C.

As of mid December 2013, this forum made it easy for persons with blogs and web sites to add them to their profiles if they so wish.  :top:
This is in line with procedures adopted by forums on the Internet: a new step forward.

When you read posts and see the poster has his/her website displayed, do you go to the URL and visit their work?  :/

I do most of the time because I always look for originality and never know when or where I can find it.

i saw in this site has blog, but i dont know how to use it  :D

Hi Ruby, :)

I remember you said you are a web master / designer.
Did you put up a blog?  :/

John C.

I found absolutely nothing of interest in any of the blogs here and very rarely something good in other blogs outside this forum.

This forum allows for personal blogs to be mentioned but only if the blog has at least 10 comments from followers.  The filter eliminates most blogs for which the reality is that they have no value whatsoever to the public.

Somebody who is serious does not go the cheap blog route.  He develops a web site to display his works.  To register a domain name costs US$9 - 12 / year and the web site hosting service costs anything from US$15 / year to US$4 - $10 / month.
Not to say, it's even easy to learn how to design and maintain the web site.

Internet surfers are highly critical these days and think along this line: "If somebody is not serious about his work, life and income, why should I be serious about reading his gargle-like ramblings?"  :unsure

Everybody is free to start a blog but not to try making it look as if it's something important for other people to read.

When I click on a link and come across a URL like http://freeloaders.wordpress.com, I immediately close the page because I know with 100% accuracy that it's somebody's nonsense.

You get what you pay for.  If someone does not have a web site, then I am not interested in looking at his blog. Period.
