Hi Panamondo,

The Forum itself is basically to help expats like yourself discuss and read about everyday life experiences. We do understand that certain (a lot of) people do tend to use it to approach girls with ulterior moves through private messaging/email.

I noticed that you are bothered by emails specifically. For that, you can disable getting emails/private messages options and still benefit from the forum posts related with expat issues.

To stop receiving emails permanently, you can
- Click the Profile button (The one next to the Flag button on top right corner)
-Click Preferences
-Under Private Messages section, click Enable private messages system.


This will disable any unwanted emails from strangers.

You can also uncheck all sections under Notifications section that will remove any notifications sent to your private emails.

Hope this helps.
If you still want to opt out from forum, we can do that, but I woudl advise you to try this feature first. : )
