Anti spam system & new rules
ThomasNikolopoulos wrote:sorry but there are no interesting discussions.
I was sending copy&paste messages to job requests ( actually answering to requests).
Is this final?
Am I blocked from expat?
Cut and paste will get you banned so you are blocked.
To re activate your pm system you need to follow the forum rules on post#1.
RAMIZ777 wrote:Please check msg is not sending
And it will never send until you have followed the rules on post #1 on this thread.
This forum is not a message board. It is a forum designed for the exchange of information and advice between members.
The right to use the message system has to be earned.
Please unblock - sorryI don't know about this.
I was sending message to know the people better
How soon it can be unblock!
Hello. I still can't get the way forward to unblock my PM. Where is the forum in which i am supposed to give the real answers for my PM to be reactivated? Thanks
Im blocked too, just translate some words from English what i don't know well to send my friends. Btw, thanks for your explanation, I will do the right way
It's nice to notice it earlier. Thanks for the information. Actually I don't really know about before but right now there's should be amendment about how to send messages across.

Another new member who has not taken the time to read, understand and follow the rules laid out in post #1 on this thread, along with the hundreds of others here on this thread that painstakingly explain how to activate your pm system.
These are the rules you agreed to when you ticked the "I agree" box when joining up and did not read.
This forum is not a message board which you simply join and immediately start sending out unwanted unsolicited messages to complete strangers, so you have to earn the right to have your system activated on this forum.
Go to other sections of the forum. Answer posts with informative and topical replies. Go to your country forum and introduce to members. Once you have done this a few times your system should be activated.

Read, understand and follow the forum rules here in post#1 on this thread along with the hundreds of others that explain how.
You, and only you, can activate your system.
If you have been sending cut and paste or unwanted messages you may get a permanent ban.
Posting here on this thread will not count towards having your system activated.
Dion11 wrote:It's nice to notice it earlier. Thanks for the information. Actually I don't really know about before but right now there's should be amendment about how to send messages across.
No need for an amendment as everything is explained;
1/ in post#1 on this thread
2/ On the hundreds of other posts on this thread
3/ In the forum rules which you did not read but agreed to when you joined up.
Follow these rules and you will be on your way to becoming a contributing forum member
ravinmy wrote:I was sending message to know the people better
Sending unwanted, unsolicited to complete strangers is not how this forum operates. More than likely you were reported and so your system is blocked.
To get to know people better, and for them to get to know you, post an introduction on your country forum.
Interesting it seems someone cannot communicate with others member again. This platform is melt to interact with people's around the world. So why always bringing different sort of things up...
Oh!I'm very sorry
I was thinking of saving time
Please pardon me....
I won't repeat such again
Dion11 wrote:Interesting it seems someone cannot communicate with others member again. This platform is melt to interact with people's around the world. So why always bringing different sort of things up...
May be that particular member has been banned for sending out unwanted emails to others and one of them has reported them.
Or he/she has sent out spam which will get you banned
Or used cut and paste which will get you banned.
This is because 99.9% of new members do not read, understand and follow the rules which they agreed to when joining up.
Members can interact with each by simply answering other threads on different sections of the forum. By introducing themselves on their country forum.
Once they have posted a number of times with topical, informative posts then their message system is activated and they can also use this to interact with others.
So bottom line here is read, understand and follow the forum rules.
Thank you for the explanation
I was pasting Messages. How can i unblock my messaging

pinchers wrote:I'm new on the website. I'm learning about it. Please can you allow me to make contact with the people here?
You can contact others after you have proved to the forum that you have earned the right to have your message system activated.
You need to introduce yourself on your country forum with a little information about yourself. You need to perhaps answer other posts on different sections of the forum with informative type posts.
Once you have posted a number of times your message system will be activated. Posting here on this section will not count towards having your system activated.
No cut and paste, no offensive or religious posts. This will get you banned.
pinchers wrote:I can't sent message. Why?
You cannot send messages because you have not proved to the forum that you have earned the right to have it activated.
You cannot just join up and start sending out unwanted messages to strangers.
Go to your country section and open a new thread there with a simple introduction.
Answer other posts there with informative replies.
After you have posted a number of times your system will be activated,
Please read post#1 on this thread and the hundreds of others here that explain how this forum works.
kudaaC wrote:it is simple do not copy and paste
It is also simple to follow the rules outlined in the very first post #1.
stumpy wrote:milenkamillie wrote:Apologies if it is appears that I was sending spam messages - I'm simply looking for participants for my dissertation and I am new to expat.com so I wasn't aware of this rule!
So we trust that you now understand the rules and look forward to you becoming a contributing forum member.
Just remember to follow the rules.
Yes, I understand now! Thank you.
It was my mistake. I agree to it. But how can i unblock myself.
Suri1912 wrote:It was my mistake. I agree to it. But how can i unblock myself.
To activate your pm system read, understand, and follow the forum rules on post#1 on this thread. Simple really.
Muddasir Nazar wrote:Hello to every1... I am new just now i joined... can some body help me?
Go to other sections of the forum and post replies to threads with information and advice.
Julien wrote:Hi,
in order to ensure quality to our users, and to considerably reduce the number of spam sent by private messages, we decided to set up a few new rules.
But we'll start with a few explanations.
Our definition of spam ?
Unsolicited emails or private messages.
How we detect spam ?
90% of spam is sent by new users
90% of spam are "copy and paste messages"
Please, please...
Don't send the same message to several users without taking the time to explain us how we could help you on the forum.
If you are a new user and if you post more than 5 copy and paste messages, your private message system gets blocked.
Stop asking us to unlock your PM system
You can unblock your private message system by yourself. How can you do that ?
Please take the time to present yourself on the forum, to participate to a few discussions (with real answers), and your private message system will be unlocked. That's it !
Hey i do not copy and paste with my mail box, why i am be locked private message? Let explain for me please ????
